Would you like to learn how to reduce plastic use and waste? GreenThinker DC hosts free weekly zero/low waste meet-ups. We also provide speakers for groups who are interested in learning more about the basics of zero/low waste.

Topics include:

• How do recycling, landfill, and incinerators work?
• Our children are exposed to toxins through cleaners, cosmetics, electronics, and plastics. What are solutions to cut your exposure to toxins, in particular to plastic?
• What did life look like before plastic was commercialized? Let’s brainstorm solutions to get back there.
• What are easy solutions to minimize trash so it does not end up in landfills or incinerators?
